patiently waiting + winter wonderland

This may have been the most perfect winter setting of all time. Enormous snowflakes falling silently all around us, surrounded by mountains and forest that we could barely see through the blanket of snow, peaceful and oh so beautiful. Two lovely people with an exciting year ahead of them, expecting their first baby. Seeing them together in this winter wonderland took my breath away and made me even more excited to capture their celebrations in the new year. They also have some pretty gorgeous dogs who had an absolute blast in the snow. I am just so excited for you both x0

new addition + an exciting year » bluetree photography - […] I first photographed Kimberly and David together high in the mountains, snow gently falling, quiet… anticipating the arrival of their baby girl. It was magical {you can find their winter session here} […]

Kimberly - Thank you again for your adventurous spirit! I had been wanting to do maternity photos in the snow for months and am so glad that you saw the potential in my idea right away! These photos turned out even better than I had imagined they could. We are so looking forward to working with you again and again in 2013! xo
